MY LITTLE PONY SALON

Posted by Picasa
I bet most of you didn't know that you can treat My little Pony Hair the same way as Human Hair.....well you can and leave it to Ava to want to experiment. Ava has every single My little pony memorized along with the theme song. She absolutely loves Ponies. Last night we were a bit bored and Ava wanted to bathe her Ponies. So I let her I went in to find that they were getting the full spa treatment with shampoo and conditioner. So I stepped in and combed the hair out then Ava had the idea for rollers. It turned out pretty Afro as you can see on Star Song the Purple pony. Too bad we didn't do something to Ava's own hair.

CANADA!

This was our wonderful trip to Canada. We went up to see Troy's mom, Marlo, and Grandma just after the new year. You can see that we had tons of fun. Ava mostly enjoyed playing with Grandpa and Grandma's horses everyday as well as the cats. My favorite part was learning how to make Gail's delicious bread although as you can see Ava got the hands on experience not me. Also while in Canada we went to Calgary for the day to visit Troy's old friends from up there and I was dumb and forgot my camera so you won't see them int he photos but it was great fun seeing them again and meeting some new ones as well.

Undecorating!

So while Troy and I were busy undecorating the house from all of the Christmas stuff, we found that Amelia was enjoying the decorating a little more than we were. She got a hold of a glass ball while we were busy not paying attention, and continued to put it where everything that she holds goes....right into the mouth. This is how we found her a silver ball in her hand which use to be red and her face covered in paint. Let's hope that was not lead based.

The Puppies Are Here!

My sister Allison's Dog Lila recently had 5 puppies. They are so cute and cuddly. We took Ava up to see them right before we headed off to Canada. Ava was a natural mother Hen with them. She loved them all as you can see. Milie didn't care too much for them.

Not Something You See Everyday!

So for my 30th Birthday, Troy's 28th Birthday, & our 6th Annivaersay Troy decided to take me up to Danial's Summit Lodge to get away. It was very fun to get away just the two of us with no kids and just actually sleep through the night with no crying. Also why we were up there we went snowmobiling for the day up at Strawberry Resevoir. Not exactly relaxing but very fun. On our way home we saw the above fighting. It was so amazing I have only seen a few moose in my life but never two of them together and fighting. Luckily we had my camera. So we got some fun photos. Thanks Melissa for enduring 5 kids alone while we snuck away to play.

Merry Christmas

Amelia's Gifts from Santa

Ava's Gifts From Santa

Amelia Mostly enjoying the wrapping paper and her new 8oz bottle poor girl only has 4 oz ones and it's never enough food.

Ava kept asking Santa for a sleeping beauty doll and this is the best that was come up with. A sleeping beauty doll that doubles as bubble bath. She was very excited didn't care about the 4wheeler that dad secretly asked Santa to get her.

Enjoying more wrapping paper.

This is what I gave my princesses a ton of dress up clothes.
We had a great Christmas. The best part was that Troy was able to be home. He enjoyed seeing Ava's excitement over everything.
