First Bath

Amelia's first bath, still at the hospital, she liked getting her hair washed the best out of the whole bath thing.

But the combing of her hair was the hightlight of it all you can just tell by her smile and closed eyes.

Our New Family of Four!

Well we finally did it. 9 months in Utah's desert heat has paid off. On Wed July 16th we welcomed our beautiful Amelia Mary Harms into the world. She was so much easier to bring into this world than my lovely little fireball Ava. Both girls are worth it though.

Amelia meeting her momma face to face for the first time!

Amelia meeting Ava. Ava didn't quite understand we told her that her sister was here but she kept pulling up mom's hospital gown and saying "No sister is in you tummy here let me hold her" and she then attempts to hold my tummy. It didn't take long for her to grasp it. When she had to leave with her aunt she screamed for hours saying that she missed her mommy and sister.

Grandpa! He got to the hospital right after she was born and pretty much took over. He was so excited to meet her. Amelia's middle name is after my dad's mom Mary who passed away while I was serving my mission. She was a great woman. Amelia has big shoes to fill.

Okay not the greatest photo. Me and my girls post birth. When Troy has the camera he never tells you when he's taking the photo so this is the look you get. Me with a dumb face and Ava with cloed eyes.

Family Camping

A few weekends ago we decided to go out camping with a few of our family members. We had tons of fun and Ava had many new adventures.

Call us Utahns or white trash whatever fits but yes that is Troy teaching Ava had to shout a gun at the lovely age of 2. We are good parents!

This was the cleanest Ava was the whole trip. She was constantly covered in mud. It's great to be a kid.

Summer Fun

This Year we did mommy and me swimming again. On the slide day however in was Daddy and me. Troy is under there he just happen to not land on his feet. Being the smart man that he is....he wore his glasses while doing this and lost them when he went under. They had to stop the slide and everyone went searching until they were found!

Lost his footing that time too. Ava did not appreciate going under at all!

Aren't they so cute together I am a lucky woman.

My sweet Little Ava loves being outside! This was me playing with my new camera trying to figure out how to use it. Isn't she a cutie I am a biased mom.
